Established 1993 “Looking to the future Futura Alpaca Stud… fringed on the Redmond State Forest is 38 lush undulating hectares of pasture fully dedicated to alpacas. Just off the South Coast Highway (highway No 1) between Albany and Denmark and just 15Km from the pounding surf of the Southern Ocean. The move to full time alpaca farming has given us the opportunity to raise our profile in the industry, including the show ring. We now strive to breed show quality animals displaying fineness, density, consistent high frequency crimp throughout the fleece and displaying good confirmation. As fulltime huacaya breeders we have all colours but are focused on breeding white alpacas. Our aim is to project our enthusiasm for the alpaca industry to prospective breeders by offering an open and honest approach to all areas of alpaca farming. An Open Farm and Sale Day is held here on the 3rd Sunday of each October. A diverse range of animals are offered for sale with guest speakers, shearing demonstrations as well as an open forum and discussions on all aspect of the industry. (see our news and events page).
